Investigative journalism is tough work. We cannot do it all on our own, and that is why a huge part of our reporting, especially accountability journalism, at HumAngle relies on support from external sources: victims, fixers, whistleblowers, experts, and so on. Do you have a tip, lead, or leak that might help us uncover and cover an important story? We encourage you to share it and promise to do our best to follow up.

Coverage areas

As a niche platform, we do not have the luxury of bear-hugging every issue of public or personal interest. We prefer to pour our hearts and resources into topics we believe are underreported yet highly important within the context of Africa.

  • Accountability and good governance
  • Climate change, energy, and environment
  • Conflict and humanitarian crises
  • Development
  • Disinformation
  • Displacement and migration
  • Election security
  • Extremism
  • Gender
  • Human rights
